Emily Foresythe Organics began as a personal journey of wellness and sustainability. I started handcrafting skincare and haircare products, initially for myself and then for my family.
Soon after, I was inspired to bring these products to the market, drawing upon my professional background in Financial Management and Accounting, combined with my experience in the Beauty and Personal Care industry.
My journey into the world of organic living started in 2008, driven by a health challenge that encouraged me to transition to organic foods.
Like many, I initially believed that simply buying fruits and vegetables from the supermarket was synonymous with healthy eating.
However, as I researched and studied the production and sourcing of food, I was awakened to the importance of organic produce, despite the added cost.
This transformative experience ultimately led me to become a scholar of Sustainable Management by 2021, with a focus on guiding other organizations to develop their sustainability agendas.
In 2022, I took on the role of lecturer in sustainability within the context of Business & Management, equipping future leaders and managers with knowledge on the critical role of sustainability in all corporations and workplaces.
Our Philosophy
At Emily Foresythe Organics, we embrace the principle that our skin, as our largest organ, deserves as much attention and care as what we consume. Selecting high-quality, natural ingredients is a core part of our philosophy, with luxurious African Shea butter as our base ingredient—one of the best choices we have made.
This decision not only highlights the impressive benefits of Shea butter for the skin but also reinforces our commitment to supporting local farmers and sustainable farming practices in Africa.
Our brand is inspired by my grandmother, Emily Yetunde Foresythe, whose stories of rich, diverse heritage instilled in us an appreciation for nature’s abundant resources. Her influence forms the foundation of our ethos: every region and culture has a wealth of natural products that nourish and support our well-being.

My Journey
With over 27 years in the beauty industry, my journey has been a rewarding blend of growth, leadership, and a passion for helping others discover the best in themselves.
Starting as a consultant, I quickly found my footing, eventually leading a dedicated team of consultants and rising to the role of Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics UK. These experiences taught me invaluable lessons in quality, care, and the importance of customer-centered beauty.
In 2000, I opened my first beauty studio and boutique in West Acton, London—a space where I could bring my vision for personal care and holistic wellness to life.
Many years later, I embarked on a new chapter: handcrafting organic body butters as a natural, nurturing alternative for skin care.
This step marked the beginning of Emily Foresythe Organics. Today, our collection has grown to include fourteen unique products, each formulated with pure, organic ingredients aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles and supporting overall wellness.
As we continue to expand, my vision remains clear: to provide products that nourish, heal, and inspire.
